Eddie and Felicity u/d 25th May-Eddie in Heart Failure,Felicity Deteriorating :-(

So sorry to hear the update :( Sending vibes that they do as well as can be expected. I dread hot summer for healthy bunnies, it would be so much harder for Eddie. :cry::cry:
 
Thanks for your posts everyone :)

Here's poor Eddie this evening. You can see how his eyes are bulging as his BP is very raised at the moment :cry: We are hoping that the meds will reduce/stabalise it. Eddie is a very poorly boy now :cry:

I will be trying to catch C today (She is on leave really) as a great Exotics Specialist has informed me of another medication which may be of more benefit to Eddie than the ones he is currently on. I am hoping C will agree to us trying this medication.

Felicity is still quite bright within herself but she's not eating much at all :cry:
I cant syringe feed her due to her stress-headness and respiratory problems.
Last time I tried she went into respiratory distress needing oxygen therapy :cry:
As hard as it will be if she stops eating altogether I will take that as her telling me she does not want to fight on any more

oh Jane im sorry, i hope she keeps fighting :cry::cry::cry:

have you tried Vetmedin for Eddie? i think it helped pearl loads more than fortekor but obviously the diruetics were doing most of the work. she was put on a different diruetic to fruso as well as fruso at the end but it was too late. sorry i cant remember the name though :oops: it had a lovely peppermint smell

We hope to start Eddie on Uniphyllin Continus. The Exotics Specialist says he has had alot of success with this for Rabbits with heart/lung problems :)
