Could a rabbit ever be safe free ranging permanently?

And in response to the thread, I dont think I could let mine free range outside, Im way too much of a worrier :oops: Even if I had a high wall etc Id worry about them burrowing out, and of course clever foxes getting in.
Mine free range inside though, nice and safe! ;)
 
I was wondering if there was anything you could put on your fences to stop foxes geting in? Such as rubber spikes or something?

I'd be tempted to let them free range a bit during the day as a possibility if I could massively fox proof the garden, there are definitely no birds of prey in my area, only sea gulls.

It would be a lovely thing for the buns if it is possible, as nature intended and all that :D
I would think foxes come out mainly in the evenings and night anyway but better to be safe than sorry :wave:
