we dont have any dandelion leaves in our garden, its in a right state, plus she's never really been a fan of them. Ive just been in to see her and she's the same as last night :-( ive managed to syringe some water into her, but its like she's holding it in her mouth?Sooty didnt eat either until well into the next day though she did drink alot. Have you tried wet dandelion leaves - these went down a treat with mine and will hydrate aswell!!
Good Luck try not to panic too much
How's she doing this morning? My girls never ate/poo'd/wee'd for about 24 hours after they were spayed.
Have you got some pain relief for her?
I hope she'll be ok. The vet said yesterday that if she hasnt eaten by this morning then we should take her back in to be looked at. Is there anything they can give her to get her eating?
Try her on some gratted carrot, gratted apple, some Dandelion leaves, herbs such as Basil or Corriander
I would not let her jump up onto of off of the settee at this stage. She needs time to heal internally aswell as externally
Try some apple Really wave it under her nose:lol:
When Amber wasn't pooing i rang the vet and they said to leave it a couple more hours. Still nothing so i rang again and they said to bring her in. I got off the phone, checked on Amber and there they were - a big mound of bunny bumbles!
If you are worried, ring the vet as soon as it opens - you know your bun best.
