Cleaning house / products around house rabbit

Hi all,

Just wondering what those who keep their house rabbits in pens do when cleaning the house? In particular the floor?

My house rabbit is set up in the kitchen and I'm wondering how to clean the kitchen floor without harming him?

Any methods or products?

i mainly use baking soda or white vinegar for cleaning because they're safe and natural. you could even use normal pet cleaner aswell. or try some natural cleaners. i really like bio-d multi purpose cleaner and it has been fine to use around my lot.

we have a cleaner and today when i asked them (they send a team of 3 lol) not to use product on the kitchen floor or to spray anything near the rabbit's pen, they looked at me like i'd lost the plot

bunny is away from the actual kitchen area (cooker, surfaces) so i assume normal products up there should be ok as long as i ventilate the room?

i was thinking of using actual pet disinfectant with hot water for the kitchen floor... i'll look into bio-d etc as i really need something the cleaners can use safely.

I'm not sure you'll like my solution which is mainly to not clean much.

don't worry, we don't go mental cleaning but we do have a cleaner that comes in to do the 'big clean'.

tbh i'm not worried about germs on the kitchen floor, though i do want it to look clean, so i may just ask them to use hot water and pet disinfectant...
