Barney may or may not be tummy pressing. He has long-term gut problems (gas and slow, inflamed gut) but has never been in stasis or had any emergency illness, the only symptom of his seems to be losing weight and sometimes slow-gut poos.
If Barney is tummy-pressing and has a firm but not hard full-feeling tummy, has had a 20kg dog dose of metacam and 2ml of metaclopramide (these are his daily meds anyway atm), and is eating fine, then that is not an emergency, right? I don't think it is, but can't sleep till I know I'm not going to wake up to a dead bunny.
I've posted asking for pics of tummy-pressing in the health section anyways, as I'm not sure if that was actually what he was doing, but the vet did say when I saw her on Friday that his slow gut could cause pain.
