Sonic the not hedgehog...

Mama Doe
I had my camera with me when I got back from college, so I decided to take a few snaps of my waabbit.

His face got so dark during summer!!

Wanna stay still for one sec, Sonic?

The flash made his fur look 200% shinier than it already

Thank youuu  I've always been fascinated by his fur, it changes after every moult!

Yeah, the black and whit one is my favourite

I love the black and white too. He's such an unusual colour; what's it called?

I know! I have NO idea :( Not even sure what breed he his. I got him at a petshop and they weren't even sure what breed he was. Their guess was Lionhead x Lop, but I see neither...
His fur actually used to be sandy coloured, with a black nose and feet, when he was a lil' bun...

And about a year and a half ago he got a blueish tint to his fur...

I kind of regret not getting a rescue, but I was unaware of how the petshops work at that time. Although, if I had got a rescue, I would never have had the pleasure to own this beauty :)

If anyone can help me with the breed/colour of him, it would be much appreciated!

So after looking at rabbit colourings I figured he could either be/be a cross between...

Blue tortoise shell
And/or
Sable point, what with his ears and nose being a lot darker

But I really have no idea!

I definitely think he's a cross, 'cause his colouring is very unusual :)

Aw well he's lovely, whatever colour he is "officially"....

I think a lot of people start with a pet shop bun, find this site when trying to learn how to care for it, and then gain awareness of the plight of rescue buns and make the decision that should they acquire a second bun it will be a rescue. :thumb:

Thank you :) I would tell him, but he knows. For sure...

I most definitely have plans for rescue buns in the future :) When/if I get my own house they'll be house trained too :D
