Do you think this would be good for rabbits?

I saw this on ebay and was wondering if anyone thought it would be good enough for rabbits to go in?

I feel so sorry for my rabbits when the weather is bad but think this might work.

I think it looks great. I imagine the enclosed bit is about 4ft by 4ft which is a good size. RSPCA recommend 6ft by 2ft which is less than that.

Will need to adapt it a bit. They have a 7 x 3 run at the moment and a double level 5 x 2 hutch but really want something that is altogether.

Need to see if it will fit in the bottom on the garden and show hubby.

Is it very expensive?

It is £335 plus £60 for delivery.

It my 40th soon so hoping will get some money for that lol I never spend my birthday on me lol (Bunnies or kids).

I have been looking to purchase a better quality indoor cage for my rabbits and I was wondering if this cage would be suitable.

Does anyone have any experience with this kind of cage?. When I click and enlarge the photo it seems a rather good quality cage.

Can you advise?

Many thanks,

James

I would say no, it's not big enough. Rabbits need at least 6ft x 2ft x 2ft of space. They also need room to exercise. It would be better to have a pen on the floor so that they can just hop out for exercise. If you don't have enough room inside I think a hutch and run or a shed and run outside would be better.

Nope, not big enough in my opinion.

Rabbits need at least 12 sq ft all the time and then free range time for several hours a day. I prefer mine to have about 50-60 sq ft all the time.

Can you bunny proof a room? In my experience that works a lot better.

Might have to plan this project for next year, Hubby says it wont be able to be done this year boo hoo.

I will just have to keep nagging at him lol
