Rose Hips

Can rabbits safely eat rose hips?

My chinchilla's have dried rose hips as a treat every now and again as they are very sugary. They love them but obviously only once in a while.

Can rabbits also eat rose hips safely?

Just wondering because i think one of my little troubles has managed to work out how to open the container (after jumping up to it....) and got a few.

Any advice?

I have brought dried herbs before from the hay experts and other such sites that have contained rose hips. Mine have eaten them as part of these with no problems, so I'm sure they're fine as a treat.

yes I'm pretty sure they can. I once had them dried and my two buns wouldn't touch them!!
