Size of sleeping area in 6 x 2 hutch?

Hi All,

How big should the sleeping area be in 6ft x 2ft x 2ft hutch?

Depends on the size of the buns really. I'd say 18inches should do fine for most buns. 2ft if they are large.

We made it 2ft x 2ft for two rabbits so I hope they're warm anough!

I took the partition out of the trio's hutch and put in a pet carrier instead..It certainly makes cleaning the hutch much easier:

Is this an indoor or an outdoor hutch?

Don't they wee & poo on the carpet or are they thoroughly litter trained?

Hi. It's an outdoor hutch and when the pic was taken I had covered the vinyl flooring with vetbed as I had a rex who suffered with sore hocks. now, it just looks like this. Yes they are litter trained although they do poo on the floor sometimes..thankfully they wee only in the litter trays so it's not a problem. The lower door has been removed and a run attached to the front now though.
