Housing advice! Indoor to outdoor?

fiver & tenor

Young Bun
Im looking for a big indoor cage for my two bunnies!! Any such thing, or should I adapt an extra large dog cage or something? They are moving home to my mum's while I go to uni, so need something secure that she finds easy to look after, and my complex enclosure is too much for her!!
It was either that or getting a double hutch/run for outside and moving them out, but not sure if indoor buns should move outside after all this time.
Any advice gratefully received!

Have you thought about using an outdoor hutch inside? As long as you buy it new so that it's not manky from being outside then I would think it's relatively simple to clean etc.

mmm there are some okish sized cages if they also have their exercise etc...
try a nero 4 deluxe.cheapest rpice is £69.99 at oets at home online...
the biggest is a trixie 150 but its £150!!

the nero and the trixie both have stands they can go up on so they dont freak out at people looming over them during the day...or as long as youre mums ok seeing to them it can stay on the floor.

im having to change living accommadation for our two little buns who are bonded together now..they share the lounge divided from our frenchie pair..we dont have any space for the littlies to exercise properly..niot that either of them will come out or stay out if shoved out the cage at the mo.

pets at home thistle hall is what were thinking off or a trixie one

mind you was impressed with the size of this..my two littlies could share this happily..my frenchies could use it as a bedroom only when theyre scooby doo tent gets overchewed:lol:

Thanks for replys.. I have found the extra large dog cages and am thinking of getting one of them, and adapting it. Its only £50!! It means they can live together and not be squished, plus have plenty of other materials here to make their play areas with! Then my dad can let them in and out!

I hope this works out!!
