Thea & Bobbin
Warren Veteran
Bobbin has always had quite an obvious spine, what I mean by this is that if I run my finger down his back I can quite easily feel each vertebra, they are almost sharp
Now, until recently I thought nothing of this, he is by no means underweight (1.6 kg - mini lop) and from what I gather his frame is quite small for his breed anyway - those that have met him I think would agree.
Since I have had Broome I have noticed that her spine is not at all like Bobbin's, yes I can make out her vertebra, but they are much more covered by what seems like an almost thicker skin.
Is this something I should be worried about? Is it something relative to his breed?
Any experienced opinions on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
