Ok odd question... Can rabbits get concusions??
My poor Piper jumped up on the couch yesterday (which she's never done, she's too much of a scaredy) and then promptly jumped back down hitting her head on the coffee table on her way down. The whole thing happened so quickly I didn't have time to make it to the couch to stop her jumping off. Her head connecting with the table made such an awful sound that I was convinced she'd killed herself but she hopped away like nothing happened!!
So I watched her for a few hours after to make sure she was ok, and I checked her all over for any signs of anything and she seemed just fine. The emergency vet on call over the weekend said if she didn't show any signs of anything then not to worry.
Sorry for that rambling... so do you think she's ok?? Should I get her checked my by normal vet just to be safe?? I'm just being paranoid here...
