Is it a case that shes gobbling her changeover food?

Or is it new hay to her?

Little ones eat alfalfa for extra protein I think but I'm not sure when that changes.

Zeus doesn't eat a lot, never did really. But Athena just scoffs it in [emoji1787] I've had to refill her hay rack and water bowl twice already [emoji15]
And cleaned up just as much poop and changed the puppypads twice [emoji1787][emoji1787]

She's eaten 2 handfuls of hay she came with and have started on the alfalfa I've gotten her. So not sure if it's just that she's new to the alfalfa or she's just a little gobbler [emoji1787]
I limit the pellets I give, same with Zeus, at 7am and 7pm I give them fresh veggies and their pellets. She did gobble to veggies and pellets super quick and then went back to the hay [emoji1787]

I had to weigh her to make sure about the amount of pellets to give, the poor girl is only 600g [emoji3064][emoji7] 1/4 of Zeus's weight! [emoji1787]

Maybe give her old hay for the next refill and see if it goes down slower.

Maybe alfalfa is bunny crack?

This refill I used some of Zeus's Timothy hay because at this rate I'm gonna run out of Alfalfa before I can get more [emoji15]

Maybe my hay is the good **** [emoji1787][emoji1787] the boarder did buy her hay in bales so think it wasn't as sweet and green maybe [emoji848]

Awhh she's adorable [emoji7]

Careful with the alfalfa it's very high in calcium, most bunnies love it, but it's more of a treat hay. I'd get her eating Timothy hay ASAP and then give some alfalfa as a treat

We've built up a little trust [emoji16][emoji16] Athena has let me give her nose rubs this morning

Before she would boop my hand and nip if I didn't move my hand away.
She's soooo tiny though [emoji33] with Zeus I can use my thumb and middle finger to go down his nose and around his eyes, with Athena even just using my middle finger down her nose I can feel the sides of her eyes [emoji33]
But I did manage to get a few seconds of purring from her while I was giving the nose rubs!!! [emoji173][emoji173][emoji173][emoji173] and afterwards she struck up a cute stretchy pose [emoji1787]

Oh and [emoji1787] I keep forgetting to say haha last night after talking to my friend she remembered she's got a massive dog playpen thing that she's lending me

So Athena is now in the livingroom and I've split the room right down the middle with the playpen thing and lined it with cardboard so they can't see each other yet. I'll be doing a neutralising clean today of Athena's side so she can have some free roaming space.
And thankfully Zeus doesn't seem bothered by loosing this side of the living room

he's not even nibbled or scratched at the divider so think we have a winner for now [emoji1787]
