New Kit
Hi all, so Aesop is a very happy healthy rabbit, eating and pooping as normal, no adverse signs of illness of anything, however when i press my ear right against his side/ribs i cant hear this very faint wheezing sound. Its only audible if i do this, so it really very quiet. I have asthma and it sounds like me when i breath in dust or have hayfever. This has been happening for a while and i was wondering whether this was perhaps an allergy as he has recently moved room and hasnt been as free range as usual due to various diy things happening in the house.
As i am writing this however he just did a little sneeze/cough sound as he was eating so perhaps i am wrong?
Going to try and make a vet appointment this week but any advice in the meantime as we live in a very rural area with no rabbit specialist vet for 60+ miles.
Edit: after a more prolonged listen the wheezing isnt continuous, it comes and goes, there isnt and nasal discharge.
