I'm losing Yan

:( Just got in from work & sorry I've not been here to add my very best get well wishes for Yan until now. Your vet sounds wonderfully caring x
 
I've only just got online tonight, I hope that Yan will come through this with flying colors and be back with you soon. You must be beside yourself with worry. :(

Many many thanks for all your vibes and caring posts.

I wrapped myself in a second duvet last night and did sleep quite well, despite everything, including the horrid wind. It's a terrible feeling waking up, remembering and being almost frightened to become completely conscious :( It becomes impossible not to try to imagine how Yan must have been thinking with all the strange places, sounds and smells yesterday.

Tan and Tethra were eating well last night while I sat in with them.

No news yet. I will update as soon as I hear anything.

In my experience vets do get in touch straight away if the worst happens so as you haven't heard from them yet I would be cautiously optimistic Yan has been holding his own overnight.

Heard from vets. No improvement. He won't swallow. Will bring him home for a couple of hours then probably pts this afternoon :(
