Rose petals/leaves

Can I feed any type of rose petals?? (If not sprayed with anything)

Are they ok for drying? :wave:

Yes and yes .. Mine have them fresh in their supper and also dried over the winter in mixed home made forage :wave:
 
I was going to ask this!

I assume leaves, stalks and petals but not hips are safe?

Microwave is a good idea - just a few seconds on a normal 'heat' setting?

Yes leaves are fine I just check for bugs. I hesitate to give advice on microwave timings because in my experience it varies enormously, probably something to do with the amount of moisture in the petals. But yes I'd go for short sharp bursts on a piece of kitchen paper and keep checking, they can burn very quickly.
