How long after spay?

I could be wrong but I would have thought 2-3 weeks would be enough for the wound to heal - it might be best to phone and ask the vet though.
 
The wound will heal in about 2 weeks but the hormones don't leave the system fully for about 6. You can bond as soon as the wound heals but your chances for success are much greater if all hormones are out of the picture!
