HI, I'm new here.
Have 4 six year old house rabbits. Around a year ago, I thought one of them, Cathy, had blood in the urine. Took her to their wonderful vet who sent a sample off for analysis. I was told Cathy was fine but had way too much calcium in her urine and that could cause kidney/bladder stones. She said it was a problem for older rabbits. So I stared giving them all far more root vegetables than the high-calcium dark green veg they were used to.
But the rabbit pellets as so so much their favourite food that I don't have the heart to cut it from their diet although I try to reduce it. Does anyone know of a low calcium rabbit pellet?
