Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Don't know if i'm being paranoid , not sure if Peanut is ok

Daphne & Peanut

Alpha Buck
Hi

This may seem a bit daft but i'm not sure if Peanut is ok. I can't pinpoint any real reason other that when i put the veg in tonight he only had a little nibble then left it , he usually gets stuck in right away. Also just been out to check on him and he's sat on his heat pad which i've never seen him do before. he's running about as normal and i just picked him up and gave him some tummy rubs just incase don't know what to do for the best i may be just being paranoid. he has eaten some hay whilst i've been out with them too.

Hi, Thanks for the reply

I'm not 100% sure as he is bonded with Daphne , I had a look and there seems to be quite a few of his sized poos in the litter tray.

Just been out again and he was eating some spring greens, we had a cuddle and he decided he'd had enough and ran away binkying which i'm hoping means he is ok and i'm just being ultra paranoid

I will keep an eye on him tonight.

Are the greens from Tesco by any chance ?

I do wash them but it's more of a quick rinse than a wash, I usually buy my veg from the market but couldn't get there last weekend to get it so went to Asda. Think I might avoid it from now or if I have to buy from a supermaket i'll wash it thoroughly. :)

Glad Peanut is feeling better :D

I didn't know that about the chlorine either.. I buy from my local greengrocers, but only 'cos it's cheaper
