Bridge bunnies, ones which I had as a child...

Petunia

My two are:

Harvey - he's english marked, looks like he has a moustache so he had to have an old gentlemans name

Willow - because of the colour of her fur as well as the fact that she was 'stick' thin when we got her.

my bunny keeping days have only just started....

Alvin - couldnt think of a good alcoholic name to go with bud and stella so he became alvin and the chipmunks :D

Pearl - came ready named but her fur shimmers like a pearl so id have named her something along those lines had i got her as a baby.

:D:D:D

We have the least original names

Bunny......because he was a little orphan we didn't know if he was going to survive or if we were going to keep him, so didn't name him so we didn't get attached, then he ended up staying.....and when I suggested we give him a name, my boyfriend said he already had a name - Bunny!

and Jessica - as in Jessica Rabbit from the Roger Rabbit film. We're thinking of getting her a red sparkly dress!

Hazel - As in Hazel from Watership Down
TamLin - Got it from the song of the same name by the Medieval Baebes
Picollo - I think in italian or spanish it means small and he was the runt
Lettice - from a children's picture book "Lettice the Dancing Rabbit"
Holly - Cos she's prickly by nature!
Lilly - not sure why, she's more gentle n shy so it suited her
Daisy - She came to us with that name
Rowan - It just seemed to suit her
Niamh - from the irish meaning bright, and she is very clever!
Hector - not sure, the OH chose it. Was he in greek mythology?
Boots - Cos he's got little white feet
Biscuit - cos it went well with Boots!

Bridge Bunnies

Wellington - cos he was a french lop he had a bigger nose than the rest so OH called him Wellington after Lord Wellington who was nicknamed big nose! He was mostly called Wellie for short though.

Gypsy - Just cos she had that air about her. Bless her.

Passed buns:

Bambi- My first bun when I was little. He was a sooty fawn so named after another fawn - Bambi from the Disney film

Rabchick - He was the smallest rabbit I've ever seen, literally the size of a chick. My Mum bought him when Bambi died but Rabchick died after a week. He must have been far too small to be away from his Mum  This was so many years ago now and I still feel bad.

Shadow - because he was black and I think Gladiators was on the TV with the one called Shadow. Affectionately known as Shads

Pikachu - My little brothers named him after the Pokemon character

Winston - The wild baby bun my OH's cat caught. We got the cat off and he seemed to be ok but was understandably scared. So we said 'Chill Winston!'. We let him go in the field while we kept the cat in. He ran away and the cat didn't bring him back again :)

Current buns:

Lily - She is white like a Lily and I've always liked the name after I read a book called 'Junk' with someone in it called Lily. I kept meaning to name a pet Lily was it never suited any until Lily bun. I love her! (I know we all love our buns but I just felt the need to say it  She's such a babe and is running around terrorising the kitten at the moment

Warren - Well what can I say. He looks like a wild rabbit and I let my OH name him

Present bunnies:

Stanley
