here's an update of my bun's skin cancer:
the deeper wound that needed to be stitched has fully healed. The area above that stitched wound has an outer layer of the skin, and the skin still hasn't grow back. And if you look at that open skin from the side, you can see the gap to the inner body. However, strangely, there is no blood coming out (a few days ago there is a very small amt. of blood, like a few micro drop)
The wound is being patched w/ Flamazine. The rabbit savvy vet said polysporin is harmful to a bun, so I shouldn't use it. But what can we use to re-grow back that skin? What about the prodcut "Jason, Aloe Vera 98% moisturizing gel", would that work on a rabbit and help the skin to re-grow?
what about raw honey or manuka honey? has anyone uses this ? if so, how? do you just patch those honey on the spot?
if not, how does other rabbit owner deal with this problem?
As to those satellite tumors, back a mth. ago, I can feel the width of the satellite tumor as a peanut size. In the past 2 weeks, it's very hard to locate that tumor. It's still there, but I try it 4 times and it's very hard to find it or to feel the width of the satellite tumor, forget about measuring it. The only guesses is:
1) tumor has reduced in size
or
2) for unknown reason, I just can't locate that little tumor
