Our two little girlies are going in to be speyed tomorrow morning. The vet will keep them in overnight so we should get them back sometime on Wednesday.
Once they're back we intend keeping them together in the lower level of a 4 foot, 2 level hutch. It'll be indoors in our conservatory. It isn't heated in there so gets quiet chilly.
We also have a 7 year old neutered male and they all live happily together. How long should we keep the girls in their own hutch for, and separate from him? He'll still be in the same room with them, just not in the hutch.
I don't want to let them loose on the conservatory floor too early as it's linoleum and they get very little grip on it resulting in legs everywhere when they try to go anywhere fast!! Just the thing to damage stitches!
Should we bring the hutch into a heated part of the house at night to stop them getting too cold?
Anything else we should be watching out for? We've read the info in the Rabbit Care Reference Section.
Thanks.
