Sunflowers

Are these safe for buns to eat? Am really in to growing things atm and am thinking of growing some for him if they are.

Pretty sure they are - our bun has eaten them for nearly two years (whenever she can get to them).

Suggest you wait for more experienced people to come along soon with a definitive answer.

Yes think so - same family as Jerusalem artichoke I think and I feed those leaves all the time. I've never fed sunflower leaves but i'm pretty sure they are safe if eaten by mistake.

Hmm maybe I will not go and get any seeds just yet then, just in case.
