Thank you everyone for sending loves and vibes. The vet has text me saying she's upped her pain killers. Petra is her normal happy self (the vet said she's the tamest bunny she's ever met and she specialises in bunnies!) and I should be able to get her back tomorrow. It'll take about 6 weeks to heel but she will be ok. I hope!! She still isn't pooing though!
She looks very perky I guess her gut will have slowed down if she's not eating hay and only on the syringe food. Magoo's output definately decreased, hopefully you'll see poop soon! x
She has now pooped. I'm wondering whether it was anxiety and the stress of being away from home that stopped her
We've also been banished to the hall where there is nothing to chew so she keeps gnawing her teeth which is obviously where stitches are. I don't suppose anyone has any ideas how to stop her doing that?!
Sorry for the lack of update!! She seems to be healing fine. She's being syringe fed as she can't eat hard foods and is going in again on Friday morning for another operation just to tighten what they've already done. She seems to be almost back to her normal self. She's back to being bright and loving!
aw she's so cute poor little love having a fractured jaw - no wonder she didn't want to eat or move around much. so glad she had the op and is on the mend now x
She says thanks everyone!! We're chilling out today [emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️ I hate her being poorly
