Stanley has had 3 strokes in recent months. He is about 8 years of age.
The last stroke has left him unsighted in his left eye and he's also had significantly reduced gut motility.
This morning I found him collapsed. After emergency treatment (my Vet has given me permission to administer certain drugs to my own Rabbits) I detected a mass in his caecum. Probably an impaction. I fear that the last stroke has caused damage to the 'neurological wiring' of his guts, they have not functioned normally since the last CVA. *If* that is the case and the caecum is now unable to function there will be nothing we can do.
We are seeing Christobel this morning along with Bernie
