Spay or spey?

Good question! I always thought it was spey too. I stand corrected.

Spay spay spay spay spay, I agree that if it was spelt "Spey", "Speying" would be pronouced "spy-ing"...could be wrong about that theory :roll: But I have always gone with Spaying Could be the American way...a lot of American products, lefelets and posters are used in England to promote things.

i used to say spay but when rosie was spayed they wrote it as spey, even thought they spelt the word soayed to :?:lol: so now i write spey

Ive noticed people on here who seem to know everything about buns spell it spey which also made me question my spelling.Will carry on wirh my instincts & spell it always like I used to SPAY!!:lol:

I always wondered this. Im a vet nurse and notice people spell it differently all the time. I write spey but don't know if it is correct or not
