Are most rescues a registerd charity?
And if so what about charity box's at a local shop.

not many although some are, i am NOT so thats out of the quesstion for me

you don't have to be a charity to have collection boxes :)

Greenfields rescue in Bracknell do a holiday boarding service to help fund her rescue.

ARC often take in hutches with the rabbits we are asked to take in, most of these are not suitable for using for rabbit, some end up down the dump but others are ideal for me to do up and then sell as hutches for piggies. Just as well last year I took in 250 piggies for rehoming :D This money has financed the large shed we bought 18 months ago for the piggies and has helped buy toys, runs and even paving slabs and fencing panels to extend an area in a foster home to enable them to offer a greater area to use for foster rabbits.

Some rescues sell food and hay to bring in some income.
