Is it possible for a rabbit not to have a tear duct?
My little foster bunny is about 17 weeks old and had snuffles (waiting for c&s results to come back) and a weepy eye. It is clear discharge. The vet has tried to flush the tear duct but apparently the bunny doesn't have one... I just wondered if this was possible or not? He is going to see a rabbit savvy vet once the c&s results are back (hopefully by end of week) for now he is having baytril twice daily. He is fine and bright and eating like a pig (he is still quite skinny, he weighed 0.97kg 3 weeks ago and is now 1.7kg, going by ear size he should be a big boy, I would say he has some giant in him! I reckon he should be about 2ish kg by now if he wasn't poorly).
