Surprising the variety of vet advice you get and don't get these days ...
Yesterday I went on a 5 hour round trip to visit a much loved rabbit specialist about some potentially serious health conditions. I was so glad I did, and all bases were properly covered. The vet was a 'Companion Care' in Pets@Home.
Today at the supermarket checkout I got talking to a young woman who keeps rabbits .. It turns out she used Pets@Home Companion Care vets (not the one I used - but I know where she went) and was told that her male could be put with her entire female 5 days after castration  The female subsequently had a litter and she is now keeping the one surviving baby.
As if there weren't enough baby rabbits being born into this world!!
