Wise Old Thumper
Awwww....vibes for a brave girl (hugs) xx
Thank you. Looking back, I realise she has been drinking more than normal for a couple of weeks, still eating normally though.
I just put her food and water bowl right by her but she just isn't interested. I even offered her some brown bread which she usually comes running for as soon as you open the cupboard, but no interest at all.
If she still hasn't eaten by the morning I will go over to the vets and get some powdered food for her. I have quite honestly never ever seen anything so upsetting. Yesterday she was leaping madly around up the hall. I just want my old Tinkerbell back, it is heartbreaking to see her
She is much the same this morning though she hasn't eaten anything. I've just picked her a load of grass and dandelions which she has sniffed at but not eaten
Thanks Jane, will do that.
Thanks everyone for your support.
Thank you.
Everytime she tries to walk her head tilts over and she seems to be walking kind of following her head. She isn't interested in anything and her eyes look a bit gunky too
So very sad to see
Its really early days yet.
I know you may think things look hopeless at the moment but it is possible for a Bun to recover. I am not saying everyBun does but some do. Even those who go through a stage of not even being able to sit up.
Take things hour by hour.
Try to keep a little food going into her aswell as water as keeping her guts going during the acute phase is important.
Hopefully it will be sunny tomorrow. A bit of morning sunshine on a poorly Bun can help them, it does mine.
