Young Bun
Tallulah has not been herself for a few weeks now, first of all the vet (he wasn't our usual Vet, as I've slipped my disc and couldn't drive to our usual vets) said ear infection, and gave her anti-biotics. Still no improvement then something weird happened, she developed this strange growth thing on her mouth/under her nose. Her poor mouth just looked so sore, I thought maybe it was an abscess. The vet I took her to really had no clue. (again, not our usual Vet). At this point I was totally out of my mind with worry, I endured the pain and I took her to our regular vet yesterday afternoon and...I heard what I'd been dreading... it's myxomatosis . Thankfully it's just a mild case and she will recover. Vet said this was the second bunny in a few weeks she'd seen with it. This is why getting the myxi vaccine is sooo important; it really has saved Tallulah's life. Her next myxomatosis jab is due in 5 weeks and I will get her and her cutie-pie sister done every 6 months from now on..
