Hi guys - I got given some mesh on a roll -it's 19guage (??) galvanised. Would this be too thick to go under a layer of soil & a roll of turf? It seems pretty sturdy:?
My playhouse is up, but need to sort the aviary panel run bit now
I have really thick security mesh fencing under the turf in my run and it's fine. Don't know what thickness it is but it's the same that you'd get on a chainlink fence.
It sounds ideal and is well worth doing: I once had a fox dig a tunnel under my run, trying to gain entry. It made a couple of attempts but was foiled by the mesh underneath thank goodness xx
Assuming the mesh size is appropriate, say 1inch x 1/2inch then yes it sounds perfect. Obviously you need to attach it to something like wood so there are open bits to squeeze through at the overlap
