Is this strange boy bunny behaviour?

My mum rang this morning to say that her 8 month old BOY bunny, who has been sexed by a couple of people including a really good vet- was sat in his favourite corner of the hutch with a big mouthful of straw, just like a nest building female would do:shock:

She didnt see what he did with it but there is certainly no nest. Is he a confused bun or was he going about normal bunny business? )His plum fairy visit will be in the spring)

Sometimes Jimby will sit in his hay box with a huge mouthful of hay hanging out his moutn then slowley it disapears?

Milo has been neutered for 2 years now. At this time of year he will run around with mouthfuls of hay as if he's nest building but not in summer or winter. silly bun :lol:
