Does this mean they won't cover you for treatment at emergency vets? And even if your bunny stays overnight at vets can they get out of paying for that because of what it says above?

i never had a problem getting the emergency vets fees paid, if i had gone with a sore foot maybe that wouldnt of been paid but everytime Alvin stopped eating it got paid :wave: I even got the cost of a home visit paid to my pearl who was dying from an enlarged heart, my vet had to write a letter to say travel was a very bad idea and they paid up no trouble at all

Just to add I know people have had trouble with PAH cover but I've made 2 claims with them and both have paid out. The first one involved an emergency consult and follow up surgery at my own vet and was simple claim form off, payment received.

My more recent one for Heather's dry eye started to go the way others on here have had trouble - by them sending me a letter saying they had requested more info from my vet which they hadn't received so had closed the claim. I contacted them to find out what they needed - they wanted her full clinical history not just the past 12 months. The VN faxed it to them while I was there, I rang them a few days later to confirm they had received it - yes, it had been passed to the assessors - and today I got confirmation that they have approved the claim and a cheque is on the way. This claim also included £170 referral to an ophthalmic specialist. So while I know others do seem to have had a lot of trouble, I haven't at all.
