  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

That would be fantastic Jill. :D Where abouts in Derbyshire do you travel to?

Louise
Bolsover :)

Would you becoming up the M1 Jill? If so we could meet you at Woodall Service Area one weekend.

Louise
It's unlikely to be a weekend as I work shifts and only get one weekend off in 7  More likely to be mid-week

p.s. small world eh Mumofthumps :)

Could have a problem there as hubby works full time. He could meet you on his way home from work at Woodall between 5-6pm but other then that we are fairly restricted to weekends as I don't drive.

My bunny Goofball has virtually identical teeth problem. This summer, I'll try a different field of hay, if that still doesn't work, a back up plan is to get her a different kind of hay, some breeder suggest ??? hay is sweeter, and rabbit loves it. I think I can tempt her with the sweet tasty hay and mix it w/ the normal timothy hay.

That brilliant news :D :D must be a huge weight of your mind, plus you get a house bunny :D

All well that ends well...but yes we demand pictures now :)
