  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Look who are in the same cage! We don't have any spare puppy panels here, white buns are using them all, so they're like this til I trust them.. Then the whole downstairs will be open [emoji38]

Not the best picture, I'm really trying not to get very close, they tend to get excited when I go over and then there's a little bit of zooming which Idk.. I worry it'll start something [emoji51]

Look good! I didn't know you had these two!
Yea this is Atticus and Clementine :) they're brother and sister and have been bonded 3 times now, but medical stuff has messed stuff up in the past unfortunately. I'm hoping we can keep them together now. They've always been indoor buns so much easier if they are together too [emoji38]

They look very close. You have 6 Rabbits?
It's only been 4 days they've been together! [emoji38]

No just the 4, these 2 and then the 2 white buns - Penelope and Apricot :)

That's brilliant  Did you rebond them yourself after all then?
No, I just couldn't be with them 24/7, so wouldn't have felt right, plus I'm a huge chicken [emoji38] I booked them in with the lady I know, but Atticus has had like 4 flare ups in the last month and it kept delaying things. They were there 4 days, for the initial bit and now I'm just keeping an eye on them :)

Yes, I asked because I thought that you'd mentioned previously you were taking them back to where they were bonded before. They look very settled together
