Does anyone know what tree this is

Hi, just had our garden all cleared, will be a while before it's all done and probably still cost us an arm and a leg... but I know there was a apple tree in the garden at some point, just wondering, could that be it?

If not Apple, does anyone know what tree it is, and is it save to give a few branches to the buns?

yeah that could be. I don't know if the apple tree is still there then. guess need to look at what they should look like and see if I can spot it

I know it had some other fruit tree in there, an apple and something else, but cant remember

It could be an apple. If so, it will come into blossom soon. Our damsons / plums have just about finished flowering and the leaves are coming out now. The cherry has prominent flower buds but none open yet and no leaves to note, but they have different leaves to your picture anyway. The apples are just coming into leaf and the first signs of flower buds if you look carefully.

Are there any windfalls in the garden from Autumn? It would give you another clue.

OK took pictures of the other three we have there, I know we definitely had an apple one at some point... but maybe it didn't survive the oak trees fall

I'd just like to give my babies some nice fresh branches, just don't know what they can have from the garden.

I wish I checked before we had the garden cleared, since there would have been some, but right now all is just bare, apart from the trees.

now you mentioned the flowers I just checked what apple tree flowers look like, and I think the apple tree is the one with the flowers in the extra pictures I added... shame, it's the one that had didn't do well from the tree fall and is the smallest one lol

That one looks very like the patio apple trees I am looking at right now

No it's a different one. there are 4 trees in that bit of the garden, and I thought I remembered it being the first one... but then someone mentioned blossoms and that's when it hit me, I think it was on the other side of that seating area, and there it was blossoms and all. just shows why I shouldn't be in the garden, I didn't even know apple trees have blossoms now lol
