  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Good idea

oh Orion ate some bin bag the other day, didn't think he could but he shoved his snoot through the bars and ate a giant chunk. I had rabbit litter all over my floor. I may have told him he is a horrible boy and I'm going to tap his booty for it  so on top of sweeping up soiled rabbit litter at 1am, I also had to stay up to keep an eye on him!

he was fine, my sleep was not however

I'm glad she's still doing okay! :D

Yea I didn't sleep much, and because I was accessible Clementine was being a pain too and kept waking me up [emoji38] I took comfort in the fact she was being her demanding self all night but it was also exhausting [emoji38]

Try not to stress out, her poo colour will be darker but as long as it's coming out that's good news :)
Yea I guess any poop is better than none, as long as it keeps on coming. She's still in a good mood so hopefully she's not uncomfortable. Thanks Jane :)
