Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.
You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.
We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.
Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Poor Bing doesn't like being picked up at the vets and panicked a little. When we came home he went straight to his cat bed.

He is. Vet check up went really well, everything healing nicely. Follow up on the 12th.

awww. What kind of bunny is he? what does he look like? Colour? Size. I need a mental pic if no photos?
A tiny bunny, 1.3 kilos. Black with white nose, white spot on the top of his head. Ears neither up or down, they stick out to the side. He is really cute. I'm working on Flickr, something keeps going wrong with setting up an account.

I can post a pic if you wanted to email me oneI have loads not great quality but it shows him well. I don't like using a flash incase it upsets him. All on my phone which is flat so charging now. X

I put a new thread up yesterday.
Bing is doing so well. He had his second check up yesterday and my vet was amazed how quickly he has healed. Bing had his first vacs as well.
He doesn't need anymore checks up but has his second vaccination in two weeks.
