Some people react strongly though to the idea of a car ride for bunnies.

What do people feel about this as a bonding method?

I wouldnt use a car ride as a bonding method or any stressing type ones.

I did my (one and only) bond in my bedroom with a fairly large pen and loads of litter trays, one per rabbit plus one exta. It worked well for the quad (happy since october 2013).

I would love a large group but feel afraid to risk the quad's bond and those of my two m/f pairs.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to 'read' the rabbits' behaviour and to stop any battles before they got out of hand. Not stress free but very rewarding.
