Hello All,
I’m slightly (a lot) anxious and am hoping for advice and/or reassurance:
I just took Pepper and Bertie to the vets as Pepper had a check-up booked in. As we were waiting in reception to pay, a very distressed woman carrying a cardboard box turned up. The receptionist took the box and disappeared out back for a while. When she came back with the box, she handed it to the woman and told her that the Vet suspects EC.
At first I was very supportive and told the woman to sit down and breathe, but then I had a bit of a panic attack as well, worrying that my buns will catch spores their the air The receptionist said my buns will not have caught anything and I don’t need to give them Panacur (she said she didn’t touch the poorly bun so no cross-contamination of any kind) but I’m still worried. What do you think? Could it happen? I’ve nursed a bun through EC before and it’s not something I want to repeat... xx
