    Will you have more?

Absolutely not. I only have Porter left and it really pains me he is all alone. He deserves a home with another bunny but I just do not have what it takes to lose another rabbit again. Noisette passing away broke me apart. She was my soul animal, I miss her every single day.

    The largest RU bunny.....

Noisette at her heaviest was 8.5kgs!! She was very overweight though and I managed to get her to a trim 6.5kgs. Unfortunately she isn't with us anymore, and not a day goes by when I don't think of her, she's left a huge hole in my heart.

I'm not too sure, Jack :( They were free ranging in the garden during the day, locked away and fed at night and when I went to let them out in the morning they had both gone to the bridge. I know it was something I must have done and I will never forgive myself for that, I wish I just knew what...

Porter is gorgeous isn't he  I haven't been active on this thread because I was waiting for the rescue to get back to me about having permission to rehome Porter privately. They have agreed on the basis a home check is carried out, but all is okay  I would love to see Porter going...

Rescue Hares as animal companions and bonding bunny?

They are not actual hares, they are a domesticated breed of rabbit. Search Belgian Hares on the forum and you'll find lots of info on them. It's impossible for a hare and rabbit to mate, they are different species :D:wave:

Thank you for posting this Tree  And he is absolutely gorgeous isn't he. I am gutted beyond words that Kali and Aspen passed away, no matter what anyone says I will always blame myself for this :(. I just cannot think of getting another bunny again as I really do not think I am cut of for...

    Been given rabbit fur!

I think you've come to the wrong place for advice because everyone is very opinionated about this subject. I would do what you feel is right, if you want to wear it, then wear it. I would  (ps, not that I would buy it!)

The Cali Trio (and updates on Sonu the dog) PIC HEAVY

 These bunnies are amazing! They've turned a year old now and are doing great here :D From the little rescues they were when they came here, practically no socialisation with humans and running away every time you approached them... to bunnies who beg you for food and like head rubs! It's...

What weight do people start considering their rabbits as "medium" "large" etc?

I think it depends on breed too! Mine are about 4kgs each, but they are californians. They are short and dumpy, just how the breed is supposed to be, but I wouldn't consider them large, they look like a medium sized bunnies to me :)

    Run/aviary recommendations please

excellent, welfare hutch company sounds brilliant!!! Like that they don't sell anything less than 6ft hutches, all looks good to me so far and reasonably priced. Would the 10ft run be big enough for 3 medium sized bunnies? I am seriously out of touch, I really have no idea. I hate the fact the...

    Run/aviary recommendations please

Rhian, just checked their website, it seems slightly expensive for my budget according to their price plan! I'm looking for something max £250. Stator, I really don't want something cheaply made, it needs to be dog proof and I would prefer good quality mesh and wood! :) There is so much to...

    Run/aviary recommendations please

Hi all, as some of you know, throughout the whole time of owning bunnies, they have always been free range. Now we have adopted our dog, he seems to have the urge to chase the bunnies and him being an incredibly excitable young (and very big!!) puppy, keeping the buns free range just isn't going...
