Bonded pair- I need desperate help

It could be what is called Spring fever, even though the Rabbits are neutered they can act as if they aren't. I have had to separate a pair of mine, they had been happy but the female got broody and kept chasing the male but hopefully they will go back together later on in the year. Mostly...

    Rabbit Dander

My Rabbits are kept very clean and she knows that as she has been in my garden several times and is besotted by Benji who has been living in my kitchen. (She actually asked me if she could borrow him for a couple of days!). You can guess what I said! She has certain "issues", autism...

    Rabbit Dander

My neighbour says she cannot open her windows because of the Rabbits' dander. Is there anything that can be done about this? I am pretty sensitive to things but never notice anything coming from the Bunnies.

Abcess or possible tumour - UPDATE

I am so pleased Bunny is much better. Well done! Maybe if she is keeping clean at the rear end you don't need to wash her so much. Just keep an eye on her.

Are there any other pets around which might be making them uneasy? Do they have anywhere to hide? Do they have fresh air? How old are they

    Hutch Lining

I put newspaper on the hutch floors which I get from neighbours etc, good shavings with paper on top in the litter trays. I do use lino at times but they tend to nibble it.

Moving bonded bunnies into their permanent home - advice needed

I agree with the previous replies. To repeat what Omi said, if your Rabbits are relaxed together in the bonding area for a day or so then they should be fine to go straight back to where they live, wiithout the barrier.

    Rosemary is overproducing cecotropes!

You could give her some Readigrass which is very popular. Bear in mind if she is getting a mucky bum she is in danger of getting fly strike which is fatal if not caught early enough. You have to be in charge of what she eats or you will be spending a lot of time at the Vets.

Abcess or possible tumour - UPDATE

I think you are doing the right thing for now ie carrying on with the abx and monitoring her. If she gets worse or seems to be in pain then you will have to take her back to the Vets. Hope everything will be ok.

    Slabs in run?

Mesh and turf is ok, at first, but it will turn to mud very soon. Slabs are about the best way forward.
