We have two Netherland Dwarfs, bonded, and have been together for almost three years. I was chatting with my O/H this morning and told him that I would like more bunnies as I have decided that I really enjoy keeping and looking after the two we have.
The two we have have their own hutch and run but also mainly enjoy supervised time in our large garden.
My O/H said that we would get a 6' x 4' shed, which could inforporate a three tier hutch area.
I need some really good advice.
1. Are there any rehome centres in Northumberland/Tyneside that anyone knows of?
2. Do I get two rabbits who are already bonded?
3. As we have a male and female, do we get another male and female or does it not matter what we get?
4. How would I go about bonding the two we already have with the new two?
5. If the two new bunnies were'nt already bonded, would I have to bond those two before introdcing them to Smudge and Daisy or could I bond them altogether?
6. How could I get Smudge and Daisy to move into their new home? Or would it be better to leave them where they are? Ideally, I want them all living together?
7. I'd love to see some pictures of similar types of sheds that have been adapted for bunnies to livie in - preferably with runs attached.
Thanks in advance.
