Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Applying dynamite on bunny botty

Hia I want to do a spray of dynamite fly guard on my buns tonight. How heavily do you spray botty area - and how on earth do you stop them from licking it off?? :?

Appreciate any advice!!

Is that like Rearguard? I pour the solution onto my hands and rub it well in to all the nooks and crannies! Much less wasteage.

Its supposed to be a natural remedy rather than harsh chemicals. It says that you can only use it diluted. How do you stop them licking it tho?

I tend to spray a light mist over the enclosure, some of it may land on the bunnies, but not much. I also spray litter trays with it to clean them, and hutches, just to deter the flies.
it doesn't work as rearguard does, to stop the eggs maturing into maggots.

i wouldnt use dynamite directly on the animals.

Only use products for direct animal use for that. Dynamite contains lots of essential oils etc so might affect there skin if used on the animal.

If unsure contact the manufacturers to ask them BEFORE you try it.
