i have been nipping my managers head ever since i started at pets at home  i only work there weekends so get very little time to plead my case lol and recently she has been listening!!
we made two lids for bunny village to stop the bucks getting to the does and from fighting with each other and we have moved rabbits into the chipmunk enclosure (not selling anymore chipmunks! hopefully stop selling all livestock one day)
sadly they are all in seperate ferplast cages as they are fully developed males  but the plan is once these guys are sold we will use the chipmunk enclosure for the guinea pigs and the bunny village just for bunnys! so i felt like i was getting somewhere! although she promised me no more than four bunnies on sale at a time, so imagine how distraught i was when i walked in today to find nine buns for sale!!
she could see i was upset and invited me through the back to talk, i ran some ideas by her about putting posters up, giving staff regular tests about the animals we sell eg minium housing, diet requirements, compatibility etc then i hit the big one - i suggested working with rescue's in some way so am looking to you guys for help and suggestions!! she has agreed to donate runs, food, toys and have a collection! its a start, but she is leaving all this upto me
