Mama Doe
We are Will & Nancy who live with 3 humans, Mumslave, Manslave and Danslave. We hope we are in time for Wabbit Wednesday, but we have been very busy.
We came to live here last year, (Will in April & Nancy in July after Will's sister Poppy sadly went to the Rainbow Bridge). As you will see, we write good English:lol::lol:
We live in a big hutch with a big run attached to it via a ramp. Manslave built it to Mumslaves very high specifications. Mumslave wanted us to live indoors but Manslave said "NO".
We do not mind. We like it outside. We have vinyl flooring in our hutch and on the floor of our run (the run is raised off the ground). We get to go out on the grass everyday when the slaves are home from work. I know the Mumslave wants a permanent secure run on the grass via a tunnel from our current run. She is working on the Manslave in this respect.
We have a little house inside the run which is stuffed full of straw and hay for us to keep warm in, but we usually either lay on top of it, or pull all the straw out and lay on the the straw on the floor. We dont very often lay on our chill and chew mats as we chew them. Mumslave is constantly ordering new ones for us.
The Mumslave did get us into the conservatory one afternoon last year when it was raining. She was hoping we would be very, very good so we could live there during the winter (apparently we cant live there in the summer as it gets too hot). Unfortunately we werent good. Will dug the carpet and Nancy bit through the shredder lead (well fancy leaving it out humans). But we used our litter tray, what more can they ask. The shredder still works as the Manslave taped it and you cant see where Will dug the carpet as its under the sofa.
On the whole we do love our humans, we just dont like some of the things they do. But they keep us very clean, well-groomed, warm and above all bring us FOOD. Nancy is trying to lose a bit of weight at the moment so we're not getting quite as much Rabbit Royale as usual (pellets make my poo's go funny - Nancy) and we only get half a treat each at suppertime (dont see why I cant have a whole one - Will).
We dont like it when they pick us up and examine our privates to make sure they're clean, we mean, some dignity please. We're ALWAYS cleaning ourselves. The manslave always used to pick us up to put us on the grass. We ALWAYS run away when he comes to our home, but he always finds us. We found a mutually agreeable solution though, we just hop into one of our 3 litter boxes and he picks that up to carry us in.
Danslave is probably our favourite human. He looks after us when mumslave and manslave go on holiday occasionally. He NEVER picks us up so we just get into our carrier for him to put us on the grass. He gives us lots of treats and when he does our litter boxes we get so much hay its like a trampoline. :lol:
We will finish now as it's nearly bedtime. We hope you liked reading about us. We would really like to do our own daily blog or set up our own facebook page like some of our rabbit friends have done, but we never get the time. What with going about our bunny work everyday, keeping ourselves clean, keeping our home clean, sorting out different foods for fussy eaters, and spending all our free time with the humans, the days just race past.
Hang on, what's that noise, oh it's Mumslave snorting with laughter. She's saying she would love our life of eating and sleeping the day away and being waited on hand and paws while she's hard at work. The cheek of her.
