Is steam cleaning enough for hutches

As title, does steam cleaning kill off all the nasties?

I'm not sure,but when I bought a second hand hutch I steam cleaned it and then cleaned it with virkon s solution, it came up as good as new :thumb:

Maybe disinfect it, then steam clean it if you're worried.

Steam will kill off any bacteria that normal disinfectant would. Imagine being a little bacteria, steam is gonna HURT! However, it will probably need some sort of scrub to actually remove any dirt.
