Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Calling for Rabbit Savvy Vets in Berkshire

Hi All,

Have posted a thread earlier today about my bunny Simba having E Cuniculi.

I have taken him to the same surgery but he has seen 4 different vets.

I wondered if anyone knew of a vets surgery in Berkshire (preferably Reading) that is Rabbit savvy?

Thank you for any help you can give me!

Thank you so much for the links! I am going to get in contact with the vet surgery shortly to get Simba seen to! :thumb:

Hi,

Don't know if this will help but Temple End is a surgery that is based in High Wycombe, Marlow Bottom and also Flackwell Heath - they are 'interchangeable' so if I was moving closer to High Wycombe with the bunnies then they share the same compute system and have info on all the pets in the same place which is nice to know :)
I spoke to them on the phone and have decided to go with them for my full-time surgery and I feel quite comfortable with them so far!

There is also a Medivet in Langley and they seemed very knowledgable and friendly.

If you feel uncomfortable at any time in there then you don't need to stay and you definitely don't need to go back!

Good luck :)
