Rare pictures...

...of Summer in the run!! As some of u will have read Summer has suddenly developed a phobia of the runaround pipe and hasn't been down it for about 2-3wks now. Well the other day I put her in the run. It's been difficult as the weathers been so changeable I've not found a good time to do it. Well she had a good investigate and did a couple of binkies so she was obviously happy to be out, but I kept watch and she didn't go back, even when Skye did. I went in and got her and put her on top of the shelter to show her where the pipe is. She jumped off but she kept looking to try and figure out how to get up there. She jumped on and off a couple of times (didn't figure out that there's steps :roll then someone was setting fireworks off so I was worried but I checked a few mins later and she'd gone back in. So there's no probs getting up the pipe but she still hasn't been down :roll: I put her in again yesterday and she went back of her own accord. It was really sweet cos it started raining quite hard but Skye stayed outside snuggled next to Sumner rather than running in They did go in after a bit tho!

Thanks everyone. It's such a shame she won't use the pipe, I don't know what has made her so nervous of it all of a sudden, she's not ill she's behaving normal in every other way. I'm trying to decide if I can change the layout and move the hutch so its separate and the pipe can go into the side of the run instead of the top. Heidi and Dash are always in and out of there's they're so cute they'll even go and play in the rain! But their pipe is direct from side of hutch to side of run, there's a slight slope but I think it makes it more appealing for them to scoot in and out so I think Summer and Skye's might be better like that. I'm refurbishing their hutch as soon as we get a bit of decent weather again (when will that be?! :roll I'm also going to copy Heidi and Dash's hutch layout as its working really well and Summer and Skye seem to be creating more and more toilet areas :evil: so I'm hoping the new layout and repainting will stop this...

:lol: thanks I grew them myself :lol: I don't think the container was deep enough, they don't seem to be getting any bigger! Obviously still tasty to bunnies tho

Thanks all :wave: I love their run too but seems they're not as enthusiastic :lol: The grass has even started to grow back, showing how little time they spend in there :roll:
